Disney100: The Exhibitioncelebrates 100 years of The Walt Disney Company and immerses fans in the beloved stories that have captivated people around the world since 1923 - when Walt Disney set his company on a path that would revolutionize the entertainment industry. With the big European premiere on April 18, 2023 in Munich in the Olympic Park, the international tour will start as a highlight of a variety of upcoming anniversary events.
The exhibition invites fans of all ages to relive their favorite stories in ten galleries full of innovations and immersive technologies: Whether with Mickey Mouse or Mary Poppins in the children's room at home, with Ariel, Captain Jack Sparrow or Nemo on the high seas or with Skywalker, Stitch and Thor in galaxies far, far away –Disney100: The Exhibitionbecomes for all visitors the experience of their very personal connection to the stories, heroines, heroes and experiences that Disney has given to the world.
Disney is opening its treasury for the first time for the exhibition, displaying hundreds of extraordinary objects, including Disney's "Crown Jewels": more than 250 rarely seen original artworks and artifacts, costumes and props, and other memorabilia. Shows and attractions from Disneyland to Walt Disney World and much more. The ten magnificent and imaginative galleries with moving stories, unique interactive installations and exciting background information take visitors on a journey through 100 years of Walt Disney Company and celebrate the classics of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" to the current animated film "Strange World" as well as the newest members of the Disney family Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel and National Geographic.
