Theme Park Reservation Requirements

Theme park reservations are required to enter a park through January 8, 2024. Beginning January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. For other admission types, theme park reservations may be required.

Don't Skip Magic Kingdom

If you only have a few days to visit Disney World, you may be wondering which park you should skip. The answer is Epcot. I know, I know, Epcot is a beloved park but trust me, I have some really good reasons as to why it's the Disney park to skip when you simply don't have enough time to visit each one.

Cast Members will not ask for proof of a disability, but will inquire about the type of accommodations you are requesting because of your disability or condition. The person with the disability must be present to obtain the pass and will have their picture taken.

The Disney cast members will work with that guest on an individual basis to make whatever accommodations are necessary. There is no requirement for guests to prove medical disability with a doctor's note or documentation; Disney takes guests at their word.

In terms of what to say to get a DAS pass, start by explaining why waiting in extended queues would be difficult for you. For example: “I experience ___________ which makes tolerating long lines difficult.” “When I'm in line for a long period of time, ___________ happens.”

Just like arriving early at the Disney Parks can shorten your wait times, being in the Parks late at night as they close can also shorten your wait times. A little secret is that Guests are allowed to get into line up until the official Park closing time.
